Overview of recent changes and longer-term plans for the WAVEDESK platform.

Planning 2021

The WAVEDESK team is constantly working to expand and improve the functionalities within the platform with questions from existing customers.

We are also working on several of slightly longer-term projects to ensure that we can meet market demand in the future. Below you can find a few themes that we are working on internally with the intention of making them available within the platform in the course of 2021:

  • Mobile application complementary to the platform available for IOS and Android
  • Expansion of the already available integrations with external parties including Google, Office365, …
  • Making the WAVEDESK API publicly available so that external parties can easily link to the platform
  • Further optimization of links with, among others, Exact Online, Yuki, …
  • Expansion of the functionalities of the portal for the end customers
  • Integration AS/WEB (Portima)
  • Integration of a module for the management of support requests specifically for companies that offer services

An overview of the recent changes made to the platform in chronological order.
We only list the most recent changes here given the frequent updates to the platform.

CREDIT – commission management (new): possibility to register the payment of the deposit along with the date of the payment.

CREDIT – commission management (update): when double clicking on a slip, we now automatically show the print preview of the slip.

FINANCIAL – quotations (update): change colors in the list: black / in preparation, blue / sent, green / won, red / lost.

CREDIT – commission management (new): indication of whether a deposit has been paid and indication of the payment date.

INSURANCE – back office (update): integration of the SwissLife simulator version 3 for the calculation of the premiums.

INSURANCE portal (update): integration of the SwissLife simulator version 3 for calculating premiums.

FINANCIAL – quotations (new): additional parameter in the quotation where the total surface area can be specified + display in the list of quotations.

PROJECTS – dashboard (update): the display of the planning in the week view now always starts with Monday as the first column.

PROJECTS – dashboard (update): minor correction in the display of the week numbers.

FINANCIAL – quotation (update): when e-mailing a quotation from the window for changing or adding a quotation, we now automatically place the status on sent.

FINANCIAL – quotation (update): change in the operation of double clicking on a quotation: if version 1 we now show the print preview by default, if version 2 we open the window to adjust the quotation with print preview.

CRM – platform (update): support for downloading powerpoint files, for this the mime types were adjusted on the server (will be activated this night).

FINANCIAL – quotation (update): the printout template has been adapted to also display the euro sign for additional items included in the quotation.

CRM – mail templates (update): optimization of the window for editing the mail templates for lower resolutions.

CRM – mail templates (new): addition of a mail template to be sent when a new commission overview is available in the portal for insurance intermediaries.

CREDIT – commissions (update): if recurring commission was chosen and 0% direct, so everything staggered, a line was nevertheless created for the month following the deed date with an amount of 0 euros.

CREDIT – statements (update): improvement in the window for generating the statements: when selecting a previous year in the window for which statements should be created, the system indicated that there were no commissions to process.

INSURANCE – policies (new): we now generate a structured message for each policy and display this in the policy details tab. This structured message can be used in your communication.

INSURANCE – arrears lists (update): option to filter by company.

INSURANCE – arrears lists (update): the platform now shows the company in the arrears list.

INSURANCE – policies (update): it is now possible to search for the policyholder’s address in the list of policies.

CRM – attachments (update): the order of the fields in the window to add attachments has been changed. First you have to choose which type and then the description. When selecting the type, the platform automatically places the selected type in the description. This can then be adjusted.

CRM – contacts (new): check when creating or changing a contact whether the email address specified in the file does not yet exist in another contact.

CRM intermediaries (update): adjustment of the sorting in the list. In the list we first show the intermediaries with a number. Then the intermediaries come without a number, which we sort alphabetically by name and first name.

PROJECT – phases (update): when a new project is created, 1 phase will now also be automatically created by the platform.

PROJECT – project (update): display of the team in the list of phases within the project.

PROJECT – phases (new): possibility to specify at the level of a phase which team is responsible for the phase.
